Photography became a passion of mine as a teen. My informal training began when I decided to join my high school yearbook staff. I followed my dreams to University of Georgia's College of Journalism and Mass Communication. While at the Univeristy- I had the privledge to work as a staff photographer for a student run newspaper, "THE RED & BLACK." In 1997 I graduated from UGA with an undergrad in Newspapers (ABJ). I now focus most of my time raising my two beautiful daughters- Avery and Addison. With a love for photography- I enveloped my creativity and energy into free-lance journalism & photography. My photos can be seen, published, monthly in UiC- Up in Cumming magazine- a Forsyth County living publication. Family, Children and Commercial photography are my specialties. I enjoy making each photo unique. I often use hand color-tinting as a medium for sepia toned printing- giving each portrait its own vintage style. Heirloom Portraits by Tracy was born severals years ago as friends, family and neighbors began asking me to snap their photos. Along with the market for creative greeting cards and a new found interest in graphic design, I began offering custom photo announcements, invitations, and holiday cards. As technology continues to change the world, it also impacts photography- my goal is to stay on the upside of this ever-evolving curve.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have loved creating it.
